The Melancholia series consists of beautifully rustic, hand-drawn, terracotta jars with a sculptural look.
The jars go through a complicated process in order to achieve their unique surface. First off, the raw jars receive a black layer of colour, which is sanded, then a thinner grey layer, which is sanded.
When completed, the jars are coated to protect the finish.
