Inspired by the aesthetic and mystical beauty of the moon, the Tsuki lantern is crafted with a rustic surface, in a simple and organic form.
The name, Tsuki, is also the Japanese word for moon.
Tsuki is shaped by hand in terracotta, after which the special holes are randomly poked out, making each lantern unique. The terracotta lantern is then fired over an open fire, which gives the lantern its beautiful surface.
Under the unique moon-shaped bowl, a tealight holder is included, making it safe and easy to place your light.
When the candle is lit and placed in the stand, the soft warm light will flow out through the beautiful and round holes in the lantern, forming dancing shadows and stories that are sent out into the twilight of the room.
Tsuki comes in two sizes and is sold individually.
We recommend using the lanterns for indoor use only, as its surface is not water-resistant.
